See your Zaras schedule in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar
On this page
A calendar feed is a private link you subscribe to from another calendar app, so Zaras visits and estimate appointments show up beside everything else you have on. A feed is a private link that shows your Zaras schedule inside Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. It updates on its own; changes made in those apps don’t come back.
The feed is read-only: moving or deleting an appointment in Google, Apple or Outlook changes nothing in Zaras. Reschedule in Zaras and the other app catches up on its next refresh, on its own timetable — often minutes, sometimes hours.
Create the link
On the web, open Settings in the sidebar, then Scheduling → Calendar Feed. In the Zaras app, open More → Settings → Scheduling → Calendar Feed.
- Choose New feed.
- Under What it shows, pick Everyone’s schedule (every visit and estimate on the calendar) or One technician’s schedule (only the visits and estimates assigned to the technician you choose).
- Give it an optional Label (the hint suggests "office iPad") so you can tell feeds apart later.
- Choose Create feed.
The link appears once, under Your feed link. Copy link copies it, and the panel lists where to paste it: Google Calendar — Other calendars → + → From URL; Apple Calendar — File → New Calendar Subscription; Outlook — Add calendar → Subscribe from web. Do it now: Zaras can’t show this link again. If you lose it, rotate the feed for a new one.
Manage the feeds you have
Under Feeds, each row shows what it covers (Whole schedule or a technician's schedule), who added it, and when a calendar app last pulled it — Not synced yet until one does.
- Rotate swaps the link for a new one. Confirm with Get new link. The old link stops working everywhere it was added and you paste the new one in its place — use this when a link may have leaked, or when you lost it.
- Revoke ends the feed for good. Confirm with Revoke feed: the feed stops syncing for anyone who added it, and it cannot be undone. If you only need a fresh link, rotate instead. Revoked feeds stay in the list, marked Revoked, behind a show-revoked toggle, so you can see what used to exist.
Who can do this
Only members who can manage general settings can see or change feeds. That is the general-settings permission — owners and admins by default. Anyone else who opens the page sees that notice instead of the feeds. If you need a feed for your own phone and cannot open it, ask an owner or admin to create a One technician’s schedule feed for you, or to grant general settings to your role.
A feed carries customer names and addresses, so treat the link like a password; rotating it is the fix if it gets out.
