Why does Stripe say card payments are not active?
Stripe still needs details from you, or Zaras couldn't finish checking the connection. Online payments shows which one, and card payments stay off until it clears.
Stripe needs more details
The card reads Card payments are not yet active on your Stripe account.
- Open Settings → Online payments.
- Open Advanced details to see Outstanding requirements:.
- Finish each item in your Stripe dashboard.
- Press Check again on the web, or tap Sync Status in the app.
The check failed
The web card reads We couldn't fully verify your Stripe connection. and the app reads We couldn't verify your Stripe connection. Press Try verification again on the web, or tap Retry in the app.
What you see
Once Stripe reports card payments active, the card reads Stripe Connected and the Accept online payments switch unlocks. Stripe is still verifying your account means Stripe hasn't answered yet. Check again in a few minutes.
The setup link expired
Your Stripe setup link has expired. The card explains: Setup links only work once. Start again and Stripe will pick up where you left off.
Who can do this
It needs Manage financial settings, held by owners and admins by default. Others ask an owner or admin under Settings → Team & roles → Roles.
