About the role
Design the office surface — dispatch, schedule, and the money flow that closes a job. You will work end to end from operator interviews through production polish, in close pairing with engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own dispatch, schedule, and quote-to-cash flows from research to ship.
- Run operator interviews and convert them into surface changes.
- Hold the bar for type, motion, density, and error states.
- Pair with engineers daily; prototype in code when it accelerates the decision.
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years designing production SaaS surfaces.
- A portfolio showing tradeoffs, not just final frames.
- Comfort with Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
- Operator-empathy: you have sat with real users on real days.
Preferred skills and experience
- Designed for dispatchers, schedulers, or operations roles.
- Vertical SaaS background.
- Can read and edit React for prototyping.
- Written about your work in public.
